- Engage in Good Faith — i.e. don’t come to dunk. Come to expand your mind. Share your views honestly and listen to others earnestly. This also goes for the host — don't post clips out of context or misrepresent what happened.
- Practice Epistemic Humility — i.e. remember you don’t know everything. Update your beliefs in the face of new information. Balance your confidence in prior ideas with openness to new ideas.
- Abide by the Format — i.e. follow the rules. Stick to time limits and don't interrupt. The format is designed to help everyone win-win.
- Disclose Conflicts of Interest — i.e. tell us why you really care. Do you have financial, political, or otherwise personal interests in the topic? Transparency builds trust.
